The best replaced by the worst

7 times world champion Michael Schumacher was scheduled to a sensational come-back but that was not meant to be as he could not cope with the pain in his neck due to the accident in February. This was a huge blow to the world of motorsport fans as we wanted to see him against the likes of Vettel and Hamilton. Instead, he was replaced by the mediocre Luca Badoer a man in his career has failed to score a single point. In the European Grand Prix, we saw him spinning off in almost every lap. What was Ferrari thinking replacing the injured Massa with a man who is 38 and has not been in a F1 car for the last ten years? On the other hand, we saw the replacement for the now-fired Nelsinho Piquet jr, Romain Grosejan make in into Q2 and do brilliantly. His team-mate has been in a rumour that he will be moving to Ferrari next year. But as a huge motorsport fan, I would love to see Fernando Alonso in one of those sensational Ferrari cars. It would be a a huge pleasure to see a double world champion driving his way through one of the amazing tracks in a Ferrari. So come on? What will they do to Raikkonnen?
PS: Has anyone heard the Sebastian Vettel song in Youtube? Please do. It is a rather excellent song.

Belgian Grand Prix

Red bull had a nightmare race and Brawn bounced back with the win for Rubens Barrichello. However, Jenson Button admits that his championship bid is faltering by the second. Nevertheless, he can still rejuvenate with the face that Red Bull drivers failed to score a point. Mark Webber said he deserves nothing and 2 engine explosions in 1 race weekend. This means that there are only 2 engines left for the rest of the season. On the other hand, Red Bull can take some good news knowing that they are heading to Spa in less than 6 days. The high speed circuit fits the characteristics of the RB5. Following that, comes the Italian Grand Prix where German hotshot Vettel got his first win in a dominating race. But knowing the next 2 tracks will be hard on the engine in his car, Sebastian will continue really carefully. Webber on the other hand, has a safe amount of engines left and is desperate to get back on the top step of the podium. I think that Red Bull team principal have a tough decision on his hands because, in my point of my view,
he has got a 2 brilliant drivers and nearing the end of this season and with Vettel vowing to "fight until the last breath" and Webber just generally being a top of the class driver. Red Bull will have a point to prove, They will be ready for a titanic battle for the constructor's championship. This is going to be an exciting end of season.

Another Grand Prix and OH DEAR!!!

The last grand prix had Mark Webber as a maiden victor. This grand prix might be the same as I believe. With new rookie Jaime Algersuari replacing sacked Frenchman Sebastien Bourdais, the Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying was "weird" as at the end of Q3 nobody knew who the pole- sitter was. Was it Webber? Vettel? No, it was any of them but former world champion Fernando Alonso. What a suprise. Jenson Button has already entered another race where once again nightmars begin for Brawn as he qualified 8th and teammate Barichello could not even get to Q3. With the fuel adjusted grid in place, Vettel is very vulnerableto the Kers cars of Hamilton and Raikonnen. However, if he was to pull this off by pulling away from Alonso and Webber when they pit. I can confirm that he is world champion material(as if we don't know that already!) So with the Hungarian Grand Prix looming tomorrow. these are my following predictions for the top eight.

1)Mark Webber
2)Sebastian Vettel
3)Lewis Hamilton
4)Fernando Alonso
5)Nico Rosberg
6)Kimi Raikonnen
7)Heiki Kovalainen
8)Jensen Button

Adrian Newey

Adrian Newey has designed a monster of a car this year in the form of the Red Bull RB5. Dubbed "Kate's Dirty little sister" the car excels in circuits such as Istanbul, Silverstone, Shangai. If you have not noticed the similarity between them then they are all high speed corners. Except from the mistake for pole sitter Vettel in Istanbul by running a bit wide in turn 7 letting Button through, Red Bull made themself invincible in the Shangai and Silverstone races by pulling out nearly a second of everyone in the field. Adrian Newey built a car that will bring out the best in both Sebastian and Mark. Maybe we will see the famous Christian Horner foot jiggle in the coming weekend of the German Grand Prix.

German Grand Prix

What can we expect of The German Grand Prix?

So now that the German Grand prix is coming up this weekend, what can we expect? Will it be another Button finale? Or will it be something else. Maybe Brawn has to survive another dismal weekend because of the weather in Germany. "HEAVY RAINSTORMS". On the Saturday of qualifying, there will severe rain and Red Bull, I think will rise to the occasion. With his cheeky smile, Sebastian Vettel find attend his "home" grand prix this weekend and hopes that he could do as well as he did in Silverstone. Then there is Webber, a dark horse, an extremely fast man, Mark will be attempt once again to win the German Grand Prix. What about Ferrari? At Silverstone, we saw both cars make an amazing recovery using the KERS system. Kimi and Felipe both have an outstanding chance. And then there is Toyota driver Nico Rosberg, who is determined to win. Brawn has got upgrades for this weekend, Red bull has got upgrades. But who will win. My predictions of the German Grand prix considering the upcoming weather is:

1) Vettel
2)Button
3)Webber
4)Barrichello
5)Rosberg
6)Massa
7)Raikkonnen
8)Alonso

So there is my top eight, but i can never be sure of who willwin. So watch out for the German Grand Prix, Round 9 of the 2009 F1 season.

Sebastian Vettel vs Mark Webber

The Red Bull team have the most competitive team mates as they have a blend of youth and experience. Sebastian Vettel ,who was the winner of both Shangai and Silverstone and Mark Webber who made it a 1-2 finish are both very very skilled people but both have different areas of expertise. Vettel who has an advantage in wet conditions and high speed circuits excelled in Monza last year 2008 shows us he has alot of potential and is "determined to leave as the fastest man". While on the other hand, Mark Webber who has experience blended in with years of experience shows us that he is determined and is also desperate to win a Grand Prix. Webber shows us he has alot of patient by finishing all the races in the season of 2009 unlike his team-mate Sebastian Vettel who had a crash in Monaco,Malaysia. However, Vettel shows us that he has the pace. So will we see a turn around? Will Vettel calm down and Webber get his fist F1 victory? WE WILL WAIT AND SEE.

Mclaren's loss.

Lewis Hamilton came into the 2009 season with a bad start after the whole lying scandal. But his time just got alot worse as his car is not exactly what we call brilliant. The new mclaren seems to be out of balance and as we saw in the British Grand Prix, it oversteers quite alot. So why hasn't Mclaren improved it. Have they given up? or are they just too lazy? The team came into the year as our favourites but now they are the biggest dissapointment of the year. Can they do anything to save their dismal season?? We will wait and see

Hey guys,
News Update: One of the posts in the Nurburgring in Germany have been renamed after Sebastian Vettel.
Doesn't this show us how much people expect of the young driver?

What can we expect from the Red Bulls?

Red bull was in a class of its own in the British Grand Prix. Vettel and Webber destroyed all the other competitors and dominated the track. With the Brawns weak in cool temperatures, Red Bull now has a key to the treasure of the constructors's championship. Sebastian, their extremely competitive young driver and Mark, their strong competitor can change the course of the Brawns. Jensen will need to extend his lead at the next race at the Nurburgring if he wants to be a new champion for 2009. The Nurburgring, a circuit considered to be the most dangerous and toughest of them all could show the public an epic battle between Red Bull and Brawn. Vettel is now 2 points away from second placed Barichello could change the championship standings if he secured 1st place yet again however he could make it a tie if he was to get 2nd place. What about Mark Webber? He is a dark horse and could make quite an impact in the German circuit. But we can conclude this: Germany is not the most warmest place in Europe. So could it be another Red Bull victory or will Jensen or Rubens attack them now knowing that the bulls has a strong car. Rb5 keeps on improving. So could it possibly be another consecutive pole for Red Bull or could it be a different team? Ferrari are posing a real threat. So what can we expect?????

Has Jensen Button got it in his belt?

Has Jensen literally wrapped up the title for this year?

Ok, so we all know what is going on in the world of f1 motorsports right now, right? There is the row against the budget cap, a rival series set up by fota and oh yes, Jensen Button is the current leader with a 23 point lead over team mate Rubens and 25 over the Red Bull Driver Sebastian Vettel. So is f1 basically met the winner of the 2009 championship. Well, i think not as his red bull competitor Sebastian Vettel has been the only man to have won other races this year. This was the Chinese Grand Prix and the British Grand Prix. With his new renewed Rb5, dubbed "Kate's Dirty Little Sister" Vettel dominated the races showing potential to be the new Michael Schumaker however he himself denies this by saying that "Schumaker will always remain the best" So what can we expect from this dashing German. Well he is heading home to Germany in 2 weeks time, but can we expect the same performance from him as we saw in the Silverstone Race. That, we will all be waiting for. But one thing is certain: Jensen is going to have to keep a close watching or he will be torn apart by the bulls.
